At Buraaq UK, fire safety is a critical part of our commitment to protecting our people, property, and operations. We recognise that fire can cause serious harm to life, disrupt business continuity, and result in significant financial and reputational loss.Our approach to fire safety is preventive, proactive, and compliant with all relevant UK legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
Aim of Fire Safety
To prevent the outbreak of fire and ensure the safety of all employees, visitors, and property by implementing effective fire prevention measures, emergency response procedures, and continuous staff awareness and training.

1.All Employees
- All full-time, part-time, and temporary staff must:
- Complete fire safety induction training
- Participate in regular fire drills
- Be familiar with evacuation routes, assembly points, and alarm procedures
- New Starters & Interns
- Must attend fire safety induction before beginning work
- Must be briefed on site-specific fire risks and procedures
- Fire Wardens / Fire Marshals
- Appointed individuals must receive specialised fire safety training
- Responsible for leading evacuations and assisting in fire-related emergencies
- Contractors & Subcontractors
- Must comply with all fire safety protocols while on-site
- Required to receive a site-specific fire safety briefing or induction
- Must not obstruct fire exits or tamper with fire safety equipment
- Visitors & Clients
- Visitors must be made aware of basic fire safety rules upon entry:
- Evacuation procedures
- Location of exits and assembly points
- Accompaniment by a host or fire warden during emergencies
- Supervisors & Line Managers
- Must ensure their teams:
- Are trained and compliant
- Participate in fire drills
- Report fire hazards immediately
